Weekly Easy Rejuvenating Exercise: 

Gratitude Flood (10 minutes)

This is an exercise inspired by one that I learned at the Tony Robbins seminars I attended. Don't let the simplicity fool you - this one exercise has the power to set yourself up for the best day of your life, regardless of how yesterday went, or how it started. 

Get into a comfortable position and close your eyes. Take some deep breaths in and out, focusing on your breath. Feel every sensation of your breath, and allow it to become deeper and deeper. 

Think of one thing you are grateful for. It could be a person, an event, an experience... anything. Bring all of your focus to that for a couple of minutes, allowing yourself to smile. when you have completely soaked in the gratitude from the first, then bring your attention something else you're grateful for, and focus on that for a few minutes. 

Feel the sensations of the gratitude. Feel it in your head, your chest, your stomach, legs, and feet. 

Continue focusing on and savoring your gratitude for people, events, and experiences for the full 10 minutes. 

Note: Do not struggle with this. Your gratitude could be simply about your health, your children, the fact that you got to wake up today, or the sunshine. DON'T GET FANCY :)
